"But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”
Have you ever heard of the Bible Codes? Their discovery years ago by Hebrew scholars, like world renouned mathematician Dr. Eliyahu Rips, has been a real eye opener and a source of heated debate to students of the Bible. The scoffers line up, of course, threatened with the thought that there might really be a designer we call God that they swear does not exist. The Bible codes, if authentic, bring unmistakable proof, if believed, that a divine mind is at work, and has been at work. This designer would have to know the end from the beginning, all people, especially His own people, by name and what they have done.
I don't doubt that there are things hidden within the Scriptures that are meant to be unsealed to us in these final days. This would be very consistent with my Lord. Yeshua is unsealing His prophecies to us as they are being fulfilled right before our eyes. Centuries old prophecies, not even known to man are being brought before us, and even explained to us in our day by the Bible codes.
For centuries a few Hebrew scholars have known of the amazing study of Bible codes, or the 'Equidistant Letter Sequence' method. This science has actually been known since the days of Ezra, with some rabbis, sages and scholars having kept this tradition alive amongst the Jews for centuries. But, these students of the Bible codes didn't have computers. You can imagine the painstaking work for finding these codes by hand. Of course, now with the advent of computers, the study of the Bible codes has flourished. Isaac Newton knew of the Bible codes, he called them a 'cryptogram' sent to mankind by the Lord Himself.
I think their is definitely something to the Bible codes, though you must stay within the known Word of God. I don't use the Bible codes for anything other than my own understanding and only refer to them for my own interest. However, if true, these Bible codes do reveal a divine authorship of the Bible and the entire history of man within its pages. So just think about it. In these last days of history before the coming of the Messiah of Israel, we have the unveiling, with help of computers, of history as it is happening in real time. Maybe this is why Yeshua told us to keep watch?
It is amazing that many of the Biblical prophecies shown in the codes are not being fulfilled in a way we have been led to believe over our life time. I actually find this humorous. I have found many things known today that scholars were way off on throughout the centuries. I think our preconceived notions of what we think the Bible is saying are exposed by these Bible codes. It seems like people have been telling an author of a book what He is saying, and not saying, based only on what they perceive by the limited world around them. All of a sudden the author shows up and everyone is seeing things very different than what they presumed before. I've learned over the years that when it comes to Bible prophecy you have to remain flexable because it is a revelation of a revelation. You may think you are so right and you can be so wrong!
The Bible codes offer us some insight into what we often 'think' we are seeing. Only God knows for sure. They have proven to be very accurate, though, once again, you better be careful when you are trying to read God's mind. When it comes to things doctrinal, or theological, I don't depend on anything other than the revealed Word of God.
Chuck Missler, well known Christian teacher, and author of "Cosmic Codes: Hidden Messages From Eternity" says, "The Bible codes are dramatic demonstration that what we have here is the word of God and not simply a historical tradition. The Bible's sixty-six books penned by forty different authors over thousands of years are collectively a supernatural given and skillfully engineered message system."
Roy Reinhold, Bible Code Software Consultant/Reviewer says, "While the critics of the Bible code continue to attack the original Bible code discoveries, numerous Bible code software developers have commercially advanced Bible code discoveries way beyond the pioneering findings of the late 1980s. This old, ongoing academic debate between Bible code proponents and critics is no longer relevant nor do they even address the new research and discoveries of today. The Bible code is real with the face and findings of Bible code research changing rapidly."
Again, you can't replace any doctrine with the Bible codes. The Lord wants His people to live by what we consciously already know about God's Word. However, the point to be made that cries out here is that the Holy Bible appears to have been authored, as claimed by scripture, by our Creator. They show the scoffer and skeptic that a brilliant mind has been at work and the evidence is beyond dispute. At the end of the day the Father, Son and Holy Spirit will be revealed to planet Earth. Nothing that is secret today will be hidden then. The discovery of the Bible codes is a precursor. It is an absolutely awesome display of the greatness of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Who sent His only Son, Yeshua to die for our sins.
The Bible codes give His revelation to all mankind. Like the Bible itself, the codes have gone to the Jew first, then the Greek. Anyone with eyes to see, and ears to hear can plainly see God's magnificent hand in all this. To any 'fair minded' observer it is clear. You must look at the enormous amount of distinct and unmistakable data being brought to bear by the Bible codes. If you have a preconceived bias against the Lord, and His Word, this is revealed too. As always, the just shall live by faith.
The main buzz concerning the Bible codes is about the times we are living in right now. The year 2015 is found in the Bible code 28 times. The year 2016 was found 10 times, as well as the Hebrew years 5775 and 5776, which will go until October 2016. We are living in exciting days and the Bible codes back all this up. Of course we all need to keep pressing into Yeshua, our living Messiah. I believe, though no one can be absolutely sure, that the Bible is also the 'Book of Life' and when the "Book' is opened, the only question will be, 'Is your name there? Again, you can't really prove it but it sits there staring you in the face. Do you believe? Isn't God good?
"Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off."
