To My Grandson Troy

Hello Son.  Blessings of Yeshua, Jesus our Lord be on you   as you read this.  I'm writing this to you for a future reading with the thought that we may not always be together at some point because things are so incredibly upside down now, you just don't know.  I hope we are always together,   all our family, but life is changing around us very fast and if you find this writing sometime in the future maybe you   could get it printed and have it with you.

Today is August 24, 2015, the day before your dad's 30th birthday.  We had a birthday party for your dad yesterday and it was really fun.  We had so many of our family and friends here that you could barely move around the house.   You were dressed up as 'Batman' and were really cute.  I know that right now you have no earthly idea who Batman   is and I have never really got it all myself, but your dad and all his friends do.  Your grandma, Nana, and I love the times we can all get together and enjoy each others' company.   These are the times we will always cherish.

Every day I watch you crawling, climbing and getting into everything you can.  You change everyday.  Nana and I are very happy to see you so often, we know we are blessed.   With all the happiness and joy you bring it saddens me that big things around us are happening that really look to affect everything.  I hope not.  Your first birthday is in one month, September 29th, and I would be so happy to get to that time with things just the way they are.

This is August 2015.  In less than a month, as the High Holy Days approach, signs are everywhere that a huge war, or   big natural event is about to take place.  Our money system is failing right now and most people aren't paying any attention to it.  Many people have trouble finding jobs and many others don't get the pay they should because they are too well trained for the jobs they are doing.  Our nation, and the world are being squeezed and almost everyone is   feeling the pressure.  Still, most of us don't want to know if something bad is about to happen.  Just a few of us have prepared our hearts and minds for whatever may come. Others are slowly coming around to the understanding that things aren't right but then don't want to think about it.  I'm the congregational leader here at Beit Mashiach so its my job to keep our people informed and the Lord wants me to warn them of things in life that are going on.  Our nation has been very sinful and proud against God and now we all face His justice.  Our national leaders need to tell the Lord we are sorry but most of them are too proud and arrogant to humble themselves to pray.  Nevertheless, I keep my eyes on all these developments around us because I know the promises of the Bible and one of my favorites is:

Luke 12:37,
"Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them."

So we want to make sure that we are always looking for   the Lord's return.  It can sometimes be painful because you see all the foolish godlessness around you.  What makes it worse is when those who are most powerful, the ungodly, try to insist that the godly people give up their godly ways and follow after them.  That's our challenge.  We don't ever want to hurt the feelings of our Lord by deserting Him because things might be better for us if we did.  That's something we don't ever want to do, never.  We ask the   Lord to give us courage.  We want to always be faithful to His voice in prayer which lines up with the Bible.  We want to be caught up in what He is trying to tell His children   every day.  He takes special care of those who truly depend on Him.   He takes care to guide us along the dark paths of this life and into His light.  He tells us we are His sheep in His pasture.  He knows what is going on in every life but His special attention is for those who love Him.  We show our love by doing what He tells us to do.  That's the deal.

My greatest and most important prayer for you Troy is that you ask Yeshua into your heart, and into your life at an early age.  This is very important.  Our Lord is resurrected, which means He rose from the dead.   He came to earth to die for the sins of mankind and those who believe Him and trust in His salvation will live with Him forever.  That's a great deal for us.  There is nothing more important than that.  This world is not worthy of that God given promise.  Yeshua   paid the price for us and our Heavenly Father made the way for us.  I don't deserve His love and salvation Troy, and neither do you, but His love is to us is that great.

Again, right now the enemies of our God know that their time is short and they are planning and fighting hard.  The returning of our Lord is soon and the Lord's great enemy Satan, has his spirits and his people doing their best to   fight the facts right before them.  We know Yeshua is coming back and will easily defeat Satan.  The Word of God   declares it to be so, so it is finished, but the war is going on all the same.  I want you Troy to be with Yeshua now and forever.   I want you to be a good student of His Word, the Bible.  I want you to be filled with the Spirit of God and His power.   I want you to share your life with others as the   Lord would want you to and remember:

Luke 17:33,
"Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it."
