Jerusalem is the city of the great King David and will be the eternal center of the world when New Jerusalem arrives after the labor pains we are currently witness to. Let's keep our hearts focused on God's Word as we ponder all that is happening in the true center of our world right now.
Jerusalem is God's heart. It always has been. King David's city, the center of our Lord's people and the site of His Temple on earth stands as a beacon for true righteousness to the whole world.
Throughout history and especially today, the Temple Mount in Jerusalem remains as the most contested real estate in the universe. Satan knows this and so do all his minions. The Vatican wants to wrestle the Jews completely off the Temple Mount, out of Jerusalem and into the utter most parts of the world. All of Yeshua's enemies crave Mount Zion. This lustful craving for God's property will eventually lead multitudes to the valley of Jehosophatd and death. We are in the run up to all of these events right now! The Luciferians, i.e., Masons, Rosicrucians, secret soceities, both Jew and Gentile think they will have the Temple Mount someday. Even the Mormons somehow see themselves in the picture, not to mention the Muslims who currently occupy the Dome of the Rock and the Al Aqsa mosque. Again, the Temple Mount is the most valuable property on this planet and the day is close at hand that the final war for possession of it will take place.
Let's revisit today from scripture some of the things that are supposed to happen to the Temple Mount, Jerusalem and Israel in these last days. First and foremost, in the very near future, the land will be divided:
"I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land."
We also know that the Third Temple will be built, which the pseudo-Messiah (Anti-Christ) will profane:
11 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
12 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
What else do we know about Israel in the last days? We know that Jerusalem will be a cup of trembling (staggering) to all nations and that all nations will gather against her.
"3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it."
We know that the people of Jerusalem will be deeply involved with sin and its disgrace and will be overcome in the final days by the beast coming out of the pit:
"7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified."
O Jerusalem, many hard days are ahead of you. Days of darkness and bitterness that can only be helped by you returning to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. This God whom you rejected 2,000 years ago by denying His Son still bids you to come to Him. Your creator desires to protect and shield you from the days ahead. Your enemies are all around you in the physical and spiritual dimension. They think they will take take the city of David, the great King but the root and the offspring of Jesse, Yeshua HaMashiach, Jesus the Messiah is readying Himself for His return. In the meantime please come to Him. Make your heart right and return to Adonai Who would rescue you O City of Peace and My Chosen Ones. The days ahead will see much calamity, bloodshed and misery but the Lord calls you to Him. Forget the blood of bulls, goats and sheep: Yeshua the Messiah shed His Holy blood FOR YOU 2,000 years ago. He is Israel's Messiah: Your Pesach Lamb and the Lion of the Tribe of Judah!
"And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn."
