Shabbat Shalom: It is always a really sweet time spending the rest of our Shabbat resting, relaxing and pondering our Friday evening Shabbat gathering and our Saturday Shabbat service which is always dynamic in the Spirit and nourishing to our people.
Today we talked about Moses' Tabernacle in the wilderness from Exodus. I had to smile because I realize that all the 40 or 50 chapters on the Tabernacle (Mishkan in Hebrew) are either the most boring reading anyone could possibly endure or perhaps (and this is the answer) they are the most revealing, instructional and incredibly insightful revelation given to man. It says in Hebrews that the pattern for the Tabernacle is what Heaven will be like. It also points to the creation of man and how we are made and how we approach our God. For the past 25 yeas I have taught the Symbolism of he Tabernacle as a roadmap for Biblical discipleship and I always learn more than what I knew before. I marvel at the wisdom of God and how deep He can take us in His Word. Through Yeshua, all the promises of Adonai are indeed, yea and amen! Enjoy the rest of your Shabbat!!!
